Almost a Sunday Post

Well, I almost posted on Sunday, but I ran out of time, so alas... Another weekend that I didn't make an appearance. In my defense this weekend was CRAZY.

Saturday we spent most of the day at the Billingsley Ford dealership here in town. Here's my new child. He's tuxedo black so his name is Mr. Bond. Bond for short, James Bond for people that aren't allowed to touch him, (aka my brother who has a long list of car wrecks).
I also, have only gotten to drive him for about 30 minutes. Saturday afternoon Roland was driving (because I don't like driving with him in the passenger seat.. weird? probably, oh well)
And yesterday I was in the city all day. Which brings me to my next topic.

Bridal Show: I went to the city yesterday with my mom (who is the most anal retentive person I've ever come in contact with) and I was so overwhelmed by the end of the day, I walked in the door and told Mr. Spiel that we're eloping. Ok, not really. But I did get a lot of good information, so all the stress and my new break out was worth it...

So needless to say, this weekend flew by. I definitely didn't feel like I needed to go to work this morning... but when I did get here the most miraculous thing happened!

For those of you that don't know me, I can't keep track of chapstick to save my life. I lose every tube I buy. It's not one of those "I lose it until I buy another one, then I find the first one" once they're lost, they're gone forever. Today at work, I reached in my desk for my chapstick that I've been using lately.. and it's almost all gone! I've almost made it through a whole tube of chapstick! I deserve a ribbon for sure.

Of course, while I was in the city, I couldn't NOT go to Sephora. My mom and I made a pitstop and every time I go in there I'm reminded why I love Target so much. That stuff is not cheap. I bought an Anastasia Brow Whiz in Brunette, a smudge brush, and a magnified mirror to pluck these eyebrows. I'm not an eyebrow whiz, so the pencil will take some getting used to... but I'm practicing! I'll let you know what I think!

That's a weekend recap. How was your weekend?
