Monday, I can't see you anymore.

Oh Monday, you disappoint me. It was so hard getting up this morning with the snow and sleet mocking me outside. What makes it even worse is when my mom calls me and says she's at home enjoying her fireplace because her office closed today. Wonderful.

Saturday:

Mr. Spiel worked Saturday so I had some R&R time. I would have, at least, if I hadn't had other things to do. I started my morning with trying my hand at a "no-make-up" make-up look. I had things to do people to see, I didn't want to look dead, but I also didn't have the energy for a full face. After that, I got my nails done, I met my friend at the baseball fields and asked her to by my bridesmaid, she said yes! Then I went home and cleaned my house, when Roland got off we went to my parents house and played Mexican train and hand and foot. Usually Roland and I are partners, but my mom and I are going to Mississippi (yay!) next week so we had to practice partnering up. Roland and my dad are always complaining that they're carrying the team, that we're the bad players. Let the record show, that my mom and I, SMOKED THEM. Seriously. There's four rounds and we were beating them in the second round by 6,000 points! It's totally possible for them to come back from that, but they didn't. So, for the record, my mom and I are not the problem.

Sunday:

Church was cancelled due to the weather, so we went to Walmart to grocery shop because we really only had dog food in our house... After that we went to see Non-stop with Liam Neeson. It's one of the best movies I've seen all year. Roland ranked it in his top 3 best movies. I'd agree with that, the moral of the story is GO SEE NON-STOP.

Last night I watched the Oscars, there were definitely some funny moments. Like the fact that Jared Leto and I have the same hair #twinning. My favorite part was tweeting along with some of my loved bloggers. Helene from Helene in Between retweeted me and replied. Excuse me while I fan girl freak out. I was so excited I didn't even reply. I just favorited it because I couldn't think of anything clever. Damn you wine!

Y'all have a fabulous Monday!

  3. Non-Stop was that good?! I'll have to head out and see it. Almost all the movies I wanted to see are supposedly flops according to everyone I've talked to. (Winter's Tale, Monuments Men, etc)
